Great debut from this metal act from Townsend, Massachusetts USA. From the very beginning of the opening track to the very end, I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this album. Great power metal with a European power metal sound & a singer who sounds like a blend of Tobias Sammet & Bruce Dickenson. (with the ability to reach higher octaves than those two). Every song is full of great melodies and enough rythem changes to keep your ears entertained throughout the entire album. The 13 minute+ track "The Dawn Of Enlightenment" makes my list of all time favorite long tracks. So many rythem changes, so many solo pieces, great bass lines & great keyboards are a feast for the ears. These guys are very influenced by Helloween & Iron Maiden and it can very well be heard in their cover of Iron Maidens "Flight Of Icarus" which is done amazingly well. If your a fan of power metal or old school metal, this is a must have. Official site: www.faithinsteel.com/2008/index.htmMyspace: www.myspace.com/armorymetal
