5 July - Twickenham Stadium - Iron Maiden = best show of my life. dont think anyone will be able to top it!
saw them again for the 3rd time at Wacken festival last Friday, it was good but nothing compared to Twickenham

Very keen to hear the new album to see what direction they have gone in....I wonder if it will be as progressive as AMOLAD was.
I don't like the tour artwork very much, I hope the album artwork is better.

Looking forward to it myself, and looking even more forward to seeing them live on July 13th ;D I don't think I will be seeing them livethis time as the only UK date seems to be the Sonosphere festival and I dopn't do festivals anymore.... still hoping that they announce some dates for the ir own shows.

The new song they've released so far is, well, pretty crappy. Since AMOLAD was pretty crappy too, I don't know if I'll even be picking the new one up. I don't buy quite as many CDs now as I have before, and I'm really trying to cut down on buying stuff from acts I've liked in the past but who keep letting me down in the present.

Iron Maiden put on a great show last night as expected. However I was a bit disapointed with the setlist. Nothing from Piece of Mind, Powerslave, Somewhere in Time, or Seventh Son. Four of my favorite Maiden albums. The majority of the set were all their newer songs so it got a bit boring until they did Running Free which was awesome to hear again. Bruce did a great tribute to Ronnie James Dio and asked everyone to raise their horns high and say "Hi Ronnie!!"
Great show that could have been better with a better set list. The stage show was phenomenal as always with the setting looking like a mining camp on a distant planet.

Nothing from PoM, Powerslave, or Seventh Son? Wow, yeah, NOT a good setlist.

It's only when you see Maiden live that you realize just how good they are. It gets a bit fashionable to slag 'em off sometimes.
